Welcome to this "Special Edition" of Half-Baked!

This issue of Half Baked is just that. It simply is not done yet. In truth, it won't be done for a few more weeks.

I could leave you out in the cold, or I could still offer you a quick read. So here you go - an especially long shorts column.

Shorts

1) Was wind created to tickle leaves and stretch tree limbs?

2) On this past Monday, (and as many Mondays as I can) I spent the afternoon on my bicycle at the Silver Comet Trail.

3) I'm turning 40 in a few weeks. (and so is my twin sister) Actually my birthday is 9/9. Please feel free to send gifts, money, cards, salutations. This might be the last reminder you get.

4) I've always said you know your life needs a little boost if you forget your own twins birthday. Just in case you are wondering, that has not yet happened.

5) I can't wait to watch the Olympics. I think the best viewing might just be the shot put competition. This competition will take place in the original shot put stadium at the Ancient Olympia Stadium.

6) What is the purpose of numbering my shorts?

7) I know I mentioned this month's ago, but what exactly is the purpose of weather forecasters? Can I have that job?

8) I really enjoy writing shorts.

9) Nine is my favorite single digit number. 1,000,000 is my favorite bigger number, and I like to write (one million) in parentheses to go along with the digits.

10) I'm fascinated with fruit stickers.

11) Look for a new and exciting BizSmart.net website. I'm in the process of "reinventing" this and other sites.

12) Perfection can be expensive.

13) Happy Friday the 13th!

14) How many shorts is enough?
